Shamrock Electrics were engaged to carry out the electrical services works for the Wifi Upgrade project in multiple hospitals for the East Metropolitan Health Services. The scope of works included the installation of new communications racks, UPS and power connections, fibre interconnections between the multiple blocks, and the installation of Wifi Access points throughout each floor involved.

 

The works proved to be a methodological challenge, as hospital operations were to be kept online at all times, requiring constant coordination between Shamrock personnel and the hospital staff to organise access to sections of each floor. Through frequent communication between Hospital representatives and Shamrock management, the works were completed well within expected timeframes and exceeded the client’s standards in workmanship.
