​Curtin University released this project in 2015 which presented interesting challenges, one of which was to decommission the existing substation and install a temporary substation to provide power to existing buildings throughout the construction phase of the project. The project also required the trenching and installation of new high voltage cables, installation of transformers and RMU switchgear, complete new external earthing grid and internal earthing of all items metallic, and a comprehensive report of testing and commissioning results. LED feature lighting was installed on the exterior of the building.
